1994 Upper Deck Top Performers 1993 Mike Piazza Rookie of the Year Baseball Card #310 Like-New Condition. Ships USP First-Class.Piazza finished in the top io in the N.L in all three
Triple Crown categories, so it was no surprise when he
was unanimously selected the N.L. Rookie-of the-Year
for 1993. A testament to perseverance, the 1,18gth
player chosen in the 1988 draft had the highest average
ever by a recipient of the N.L. award and also became
the first N.L winner to register 100 or more RBI. Prazza
also became the sixth catcher ever to hit 300 with 3o or
more homers and at least too RBI. He was the 13th
Dodger to win Rookle-of-the-Year, following teammate
Eric Karros, who captured the honor in 1992.
