1994 Upper Deck Collectors Choice Miguel Jimenez Baseball Card #12 Like-New Condition. Ships USP First-Class.Three of Oakland's highly touted "Four Aces"
pitching prospects are still developing, but the A's
might have another ace up their sleeve in the form of
right-hander Miguel Jimenez. Among the organization
leaders in ERA, wins and strikeouts all season, he
blew away batters in 1993, averaging 8.7 Ks per nine
innings at Class-AA Huntsville and Class-AAA Tacoma.
Jimenez, who fanned 10.3 batters per nine innings at
two stops in 1992, was unstoppable early in the year
as he limited the opposition to a .194 batting average
in his first 10 starts of the season. He went on to post
a dozen wins in the minors before debuting in the
Majors against the Orioles on September 12.
