1993 Upper Deck Award Winners 1992 Rookie-of-the-Year Eric Karros Baseball Card #490 Like-New Condition. Ships USP First-Class.One of the easiest postseason awards to decide was National League Rookie-of-the-Year as Eric Karros dominated the rookie class with a standout season. He led all Major League rookies in both home runs (20) and RBI (88). If the voters needed any convincing late in the year, Karros provided it. He really turned it on in the second half, knocking in 55 runners after the All-Star break, the highest mark of any Major Leaguer. It's hard to imagine where the Dodgers would have been without their rookie first baseman. Karros accounted for more than a quarter of L.A.'s home runs, and he more than doubled the totals of the team's second- place finishers in home runs (six, Mitch Webster and Dave Hansen) and RBI (39, Brett Butler).
