1990 Score Shawn Holman Baseball Card #620 Like-New Condition. Ships USP First-Class.Shawn could give the Tigers' bullpen a big boost in 1990. He
developed a deadly split-fingered fastball in '88, which he
mixes well with his 90-mph sinker and hard slider. In '89,
Shawn ranked fourth in the Triple-A International League with
11 saves, and fifth with 51 appearances and 31 games finish-
ed. In a September trial with the Tigers, he allowed only two
earned runs in his first five appearances.
Shawn was originally drafted out of high school by the
Pirates in the 14th round in '82. He was essentially a starter in
his first five minor league seasons (34-41 record), and was
made a reliever after his trade to the Tigers in '87.
